I reached inside myself and found nothing there to ease the pressure of my ever worrying mind

Finally found a solution for that crappy old Nitro helmet that's been sitting on my desk for the past year or two! Village Green's designer Tom Darracotti has created an eerie post apocalyptic rat-style helmet utilising chalkboard paint. Have a look at his other creations on his site, new-window.

A new sun risin' on the way we sing and a world of weirdo's waitin' in the wings

Jeff Koons has excelled himself with his interpretation of the BMW M3 GT2. Can't wait to see it cruise around Le Mans! ViaComIt!

...done right! Loving the 30th Anniversary colors for the BMW GS range, seen here on Two Wheels Blog.

Foot on the pedal, never ever false metal, engine running hotter than a boiling kettle

It don’t matter what you do, don’t matter what you say, it’s all in the delivery

Head over to ze Last Chance Garage for some great shots of their visit to the BMW Archive museum in Munich, which I will make a pilgramage to myself one day. Wonder is Sabine Breuer still works there?

Dare Jennings profiled in Sydney Magazine

Dare Jennings of 100% Mambo and Deus Ex Machina fame, was featured in the May 2010 issue of Sydney Magazine, a glossy insert that gets bundled with the Sydney Morning Herald. A great write-up of his background and the inspiration behind the iconic surf and motorcycle brands. He's been a significant inspiration to me over the years, back at school all I wanted to do was to work for Mambo so I did work experience at the studio and Phantom Graphics. Met Reg Mombassa and drove around with Dare in his silver Saab to the interior shows which were featuring the Bull designs on some furniture. Then I got into motorbikes and lo and behold, Dare starts Deus. All I wanted to do then was work for Deus, but I have been fortunate enough to be involved in a couple of exhibitions hosted by Deus. He continues to be the motivation for me to innovate and create. Nice work, Dare! Photo by Sahlan Hayes. Also, don't forget the Deus Vintage MX Swap meet tomorrow!

They got two for one at the store on the corner

Saw this BMW R1200S and sidecar cruising past the pub a few weeks ago and had to scrape my jar off the bar, so I was pretty excited to see it parked on the main drag yesterday. Perfectly matched color and well-solid construction. Euro plates... Looks like fun!

Just hold on tight, don't get caught in your little world

One of my favourite reads, Archival Clothing, posted some vintage bicycling cards by Flickr member and blogger Agence Eureka. While browsing through her amazing collection, I spotted this little gem. My new commute to work has forced me to perform an increased amount of lanesplitting, so I wish I could read French as this looks like it could be an educational read...

Struck down by the open road

Can't remember which issue of Vogue this cover was before I photocopied it and scrawled 'phat gothic' on it.

Your face just ghostly in the smoke

If I spent more more time at a cafe writing in my Moleskine than riding my bike then I'd be all over this custom cover by Stubborn Sideburn. Where's my Leatherman?
