You left your mark on me it's permanent a tattoo

First ride. Still miss The Baroness. Took the Ghostess in for her 10,000k service today, with 13,000ks on the clock. I've had her 6 months. Some bloke was there with a white '95 F650. Took me back.

Hot cash days that you trailed around

Love the pared back styling of the HPN BMW R100GS, very Philipe Starck x Aprilia. Maybe he  could have a crack at the R1200GS and be able to rear his head in the motorcycling world again? Thanks HPN and BikeEXIF!

Trench coat wing tip going to work, and you'll be pulling a train like Captain Kirk

This fine example of an R900 was parked at The Usual Spot under the Bridge downtown. 1976 model, judging by those knee pads on the tank. Lovely.

Then how's about this R100 that was at Procycles with the upgraded Ohlins? One day. Oh yes, you will be mine.

And my bat lightning heart wants to fly away

Alek Wek via Southsiders. What an incredible image. If only she was astride a K1300R.

Just keep a-coming and put your hand out to me

Immaculate example of Daytona Orange over on Motorcycle Picture of the Day!

No more bad guy in this picture, he just made his great escape

Just got back recently from two weeks off work and a 5,000km road trip from Sydney to Adelaide via the Snowies to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road and back to Sydney. I'd just like to go on record as saying that the Great Ocean Road IS ONE OF THE BEST MOTORCYCLING ROADS IN THE WORLD. Not that I've travelled many (any) of them but for 24 hours solid motorcycling through constant 45-55km/h corners in the middle of some of Australia's best scenery... Well, the very memory is sending shivers up and down my spine. Look closely at the middle photo, you can just barely make out the signposted road snaking around the cliffs. You're lucky I stopped to take these photos. Working a bike around these curves is as big a rush as surfing a big break.

Get down here and ride this road, please.

Quick, get over to Sleep Deprivation & Stories of My Bullshit Youth and check out the rest of the Jonathon Leder shoot for Jaques Magazine before their own radness obliterates them forever!!! Thanks Jen!

A long time ago, our point of view was broadcast by Mr. Bartholomew

Just happened across what could possibly be Australia's finest collection of Nortons, Dean Hogarth's collection in Murray Bridge, South Australia. Dean is an ornery old cuss who used to race speedway cars 'till his license was revoked due to abuse of an official... He then got into bikes and now restores and maintains this immaculate collection in an old service station on the way into town. He's not online ('hates computers and all that shit') but his number is 08 8531 1005, give him a call if you're interested in anything Norton. He's got plenty of stories to tell and is more than willing to tell them. You can't miss his joint, it's the old servo with the cute little CZ out the front. Word of warning: he doesn't suffer fools gladly!

The Vintagent would love this!

Concerto in GS

Found a new friend today, at the Bookshop Cafe. Think it's the first time I've had  the Ghostess parked next to an R1200GS? Looks the goods. So phat.

Jewelz got back from her mega road trip today. On the way back she stopped by the Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum in Tamworth which houses a small but exclusive collection of rare and vintage motorcycles, including this Harley with nicely detailed grips. Welcome back Jewelz! Check out her flickr! It's awesome!

I'm cute and sweet as candy, as charming as a fable

Mick 71 is one of the most legendary guys I know, he's been riding a GSX 750R as a courier in Sydney since day Dot, a surfer, a snowboarder, and an aficionado of the Sydney punk and pub music scene. An artiste of life, but don't tell him I said that. Here's an awesome painting he did that I found on the wall at his and Flash's place when I was around there this arvo for Flash's birthday. Snail Crawl = Mail Call (couriers..!).

Feeling like your day may be done

Also seen at The Spot on the way home. And why not.

For a second that room was on the moon

Seen at The Spot on the way home on Friday night, one of the best rides home I've ever had. You know those runs where you get every green light, and when you get a red, you just run a massive stoppie and there's two hipsters sitting on a bench next to you and they're like, WHAAAAAT?!?! And you snitch a ride on a cab up the main drag and there's a cutie in the back seat and she's like, WHAAAAAT?!?! And you get a tail wind and you bust the left at the roundabout and there's a mad sharkie paint job on the Honda like, RIGHT THERE so you swing around and grab a snap with full flash in front of all the diners at the Thai restaurant and they're like WHAAAAAT?!?!

They're the best runs.

I was sitting on the corner just a wasting my time

She stalks her predatory walk, yeah

Fellow Scorpio Olga Kurylenko appears in the 2010 Campari calendar. For this reason, I am buying a bottle of Campari on the way home tonight and lounging around while I try and figure out how to acquire one of the only 9,999 copies being produced. Whoever can find me a hi-res image of the December shot gets a huge hat-tip. Thank you Olga, thank you Campari, thank you Simone Nervi and thank you Milan...

Seen first: The Coolist.

Pretty maids all in a row

Okay... Jewelz' bro Wayne has given her a Burke and Wills Biker Swag and I didn't show it at the time but I literally turned inside out with envy. So after a bit of research, here it is. Looks like there's only room for one but that'd make it all the more fun, right? Yeah riiiiiiiight...

"Do YOU come with the swag?"
"Oh you! Tee hee hee!"

I gotta get me a life.
