It gets worse here everyday, you learn to live like an animal
Moorey on his Ducati 900 heading Canberra, 1979. Dam Riders!
Lord knows I’ve paid some dues gettin’ through
Ashley Lande: "I have had mornings kicking down the cobblestones still wet from the rebirth the pillow of the night still beneath you; illuminations that hold the very air in vacuumed rapture; glitter, glittering glittered things surrounding; the love that pervades, the heart whole-made; the oceanic absorption and magic rhythmic mandala shuddering and rippling outward from its centrifuge which is the center of all mystery and life; the Christ love received through eyes lachrymaed and I giving back with the only love I know which is absolute surrender but still a treacly trickle upon the flood entering me; leaves that shudder whispery below the unfurling clouds and the diamond sky; visions untranslatable that evade paper but I still try; also I have had darkness that swallows and shapes that do not meet with the shrillest disharmony; candlelit hells spent in the inhospitable spiral of Papadiabolus; rarely I have had hell but more often I have had heaven as should be granted unto all of us."
My love for you is a stampede of horses!

Yeah, I'm through with sleeping on the sidewalk
The Selvedge Yard just put me onto the flickr page of Futternut, the most incredible collection of photographs from the Daytona Bike Festival through the 70's and 80's. I'm seriously considering getting the lady riding towards the pier tattooed as a full back piece.
Penetrating the lane like a bullet train

It's the last weekend in the game for the hit and run
Ghostess had a new friend to hang out with today. Always encouraging to see an Adventure with dirt on the rims.

Let's get together to fight this Holy Armageddon
Immaculate Honda CB X at Deus Ex Machina on Saturday... What a beast.
The rain is here and you, my dear, are still my friend
Headed over to Deus Ex Machina for the first time in a long while, and it was indeed like a drink for a thirsty man. Highly recommended: Deus Breakfast for $17. The tastiest field mushrooms, perfectly blanched asparagus, truss tomatoes, generous portion of bacon and excellently fried free-range eggs on toast. Do it! Had some pleasant company too, notwithstanding this lovely Honda Dream.

And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome the latest vehicle to the Lowe Riders Motorcycle Club, Big Luke's Black Bonnie. Lukey's been lusting after a Trumpy for aeons now, and this just goes to prove that Good Things Come To Those Who Wait. Congrats Luke, looking forward to the inaugural ride!

Just hold on tight, don't get caught in your little world
One of my favourite reads, Archival Clothing, posted some vintage bicycling cards by Flickr member and blogger Agence Eureka. While browsing through her amazing collection, I spotted this little gem. My new commute to work has forced me to perform an increased amount of lanesplitting, so I wish I could read French as this looks like it could be an educational read...
I'm out to make it with my midnight dream, yeah
Darla Werbowy by Mario Testini, spotted on one of my favourite blogs, Fotografie de Moda.
