Dare Jennings profiled in Sydney Magazine

Dare Jennings of 100% Mambo and Deus Ex Machina fame, was featured in the May 2010 issue of Sydney Magazine, a glossy insert that gets bundled with the Sydney Morning Herald. A great write-up of his background and the inspiration behind the iconic surf and motorcycle brands. He's been a significant inspiration to me over the years, back at school all I wanted to do was to work for Mambo so I did work experience at the studio and Phantom Graphics. Met Reg Mombassa and drove around with Dare in his silver Saab to the interior shows which were featuring the Bull designs on some furniture. Then I got into motorbikes and lo and behold, Dare starts Deus. All I wanted to do then was work for Deus, but I have been fortunate enough to be involved in a couple of exhibitions hosted by Deus. He continues to be the motivation for me to innovate and create. Nice work, Dare! Photo by Sahlan Hayes. Also, don't forget the Deus Vintage MX Swap meet tomorrow!

Find it kinda funny, find it kinda strange

Looks the mirror's sending me these days

Miu Miu bike from WAY OUT!!!

My favorite dreams of you still wash ashore

Southsiders has a stupendous set of images up there today profiling Marco Raymondin, and I especially love this photograph... The depth of field, the style, the colours and the deterioration. The number of times I've been asked to replicate this effect in the studio for a campaign is ridiculous!

Guess I've got that old trav'lin' bone, 'cause this feeling won't leave me alone

One of my favourite posts ever on Motorcycle Picture of the Day! Fabio's BMW R80GS.

They got two for one at the store on the corner

Saw this BMW R1200S and sidecar cruising past the pub a few weeks ago and had to scrape my jar off the bar, so I was pretty excited to see it parked on the main drag yesterday. Perfectly matched color and well-solid construction. Euro plates... Looks like fun!

You could tell me a lot, but it's not in a gentleman's code

Parked Under The Bridge Downtown this morning, '95 BMW F650 Classic in white. My first bike, first love, although mine was red. Such graceful bikes, all the soul disappeared from the single cylinder Beemers from 2001...
