I'll watch you crumble, like a very old wall

One of my favourite reads, A Continuous Lean, recently visited the new Barbour shop in Soho, London. This will be a definite stop when I get over there! Lucky fella picked up one of the fantastic Barbour x To Hi To bicycle jackets for himself. Jealous!

I walked the avenue till my legs felt like stone

My mate Charlotte came over for dinner the other night, here's a shot of her in the drawing room, we were discussing paint options for my '45 pan chop. Actually, no. It's Charlotte Rampling over on The Things That Excite Me. Damn.

Sit down by the fireside bright

Christopher Wilson has taken a great series of photographs of American cowboys. Leave the Brokeback Mountain references at home and have a look at the rest of his shots on his site. Via My Modern Metropolis.

Leave your guns at home Bill, don't take your guns to town

Pretty stoked on the Johnny Cash bike from Roland Sands Design, but with so much lyrical material available from The Man in Black's repertoire, why did we only end up with 'Get Rhythm'?

In a world gone crazy, everything seems hazy

Photography by Martin Diez of Liz Solari. Have a look at his website and flickr, he has some truly magnificent work and a very original style. Via Design You Trust!

This is the time of our great undoing

My wall tonight.

Struck down by the open road

Can't remember which issue of Vogue this cover was before I photocopied it and scrawled 'phat gothic' on it.

Cannot control myself when I know I'm right

Oh Shakira!
Before Deus ex Machina, this drawing came about. Hiatus from college, drove up to Surfers Paradise with my best mate Chris G, and this image came into my head. Immense white palace, integrated fish tank and AV, mod furniture, Latin inscribed into the wall underneath the massive cog of the sky. Must've been '95 or '96. I wonder who the second cigarette belonged to?
